That putting a speed control on a sewing machine was going to be a great idea?! That is something that I have hated about the newer machines since they started doing it. Because no matter how far down you push that peddle it's only going to go just so fast. Now I can see doing this for a child who's learning to sew. But for those that have been sewing for a while,we like to sit down at the machine and take off.lol Thats one reason I really love the older machines. NO speed controls. You are in control!!.lol
Do you all agree? How do you like having a speed control?

i love the speed control because i do have all the control.
i can either do 1500 stitches per minutes, which i'm sure is more then enough speed for any quilter, or i can do less.
its all my choice.

Tammy, when Im chain piecing, I use my old Italian Necchi because it wil "GO"......... if Im doing fussy stitching, then I go to my newer machine with speed control.
Most often though, I like to put the pedal to the metal LOL
