The ones I made look like yours, except mine are art foam, and written in permanent marker.

I use the sticky notes to label rows, placing the sticky on the top left of each row, then I basically do the same thing (except I use the bed). I figure that's one way to get more exercise ) -- walking from bed to sewing machine and back to bed again.
