Has anyone been to Keepsake Quilting's annual tent sale? The earliest I could get there would be tomorrow afternoon which is day 2 of the sale. Will the merchandise be picked over? It is about a 2.5 hour drive and I'm trying to decide if it is worth going to.
Thanks,
Beth

If I had to drive that far and couldn't go until the second day, I don't think I would go. I know that you can find some wonderful bargins, but most are gone by the end of the first day. Just my opinion, but I've gone many times.

I've gone a couple of times about 5-6 yrs ago. We had about a 2.5-3hr drive, go with a friend, it's a hoot! The first year we arrived about 6am and the line was about 30-40 women long. The next year we arrived about quarter to 5 and were 6th in line. You'll meet some really nice ladies, and some really rude ladies, so sharpen your elbows a bit - lol! Some women go in teams, which is a great plan if you're looking for something in particular. Later in the afternoon a couple of KQ employees were standing on the back of a box truck throwing fabric out to a sea of hands, crazy! They used to bring out boxes of fat quarters, ends, quarter-yard pieces and you could fill a baggie for 5 dollars, as long as the baggie 'zipped' shut. Now for the disclaimer: I've been told it has changed some since the new owners took over, not sure if this is true or rumor (either the change or new owners)
