From Don-isewman-- Dont know if this will help. But maybe you can go to Ebay. And type in kenmore cams. And maybe a model #, also. I went to ebay, and got some cams for my singer--Touch & sew-model 600. And had a lot of a choices to buy. Lot of luck

I doubt all Kenmore cams would be the same since Kenmore was manufactured over such a long period of time. I agree with checking on eBay with the model # of your Kenmore. They usually come up on there eventually.

Do try out the machine if you can. Typically, even for a machine that takes cams, either there is a cam left in the machine or the machine will sew a straight stitch even without a cam.

Well, I would get it in a flash! You should be able to find cams for it eventually. The fact that it works is *good*! These old machines are workhorses and easy to clean/repair.

You should be able to purchase a manual here for $10:

You got a great machine! All the Kenmore's in the 158 series are awesome and classics. Congratulations! As with all machines, keep it well oiled and clean, and it will run forever. I never saw a purple one. I'd love to see a picture of that! Can you tell if that is the original color? Enjoy!
