    Default Kenmore Walking Foot

I am trying to find a walking foot for my 1976 Sears Kenmore high shank sewing machine. I ordered one from sears - after talking to a sales rep for almost an hour, we settled on one that she was sure would fit my machine, because all the Kenmores use the same ones. WRONG! It came, and it is a short-shank fit, will not fit my machine. I have searched the internet, but can't seem to find enough information on any one to know if it will fit my machine, and since they do cost a bit, I am not willing to order again until I am lots more sure that it will fit.

    Any suggestions?
