If you are sick of looking at it, it is NOT going to inspire you. Advertise to swap with another quilter for the same amount of pounds of scrap fabrics that you would like to sew with. Be specific, so you get something you want. Both you and the other person can benefit from this, for just the cost of postage.

I have A LOT of iddie fabrics. I made 50 Kids quilts twin or bigger and donated them to a local hospital.
Love those big kiddie prints. Now i'm using them in NICU quilts. they can be small 15 x 15" uses up a lot of my fabs
Annaquilts under requests collects and distributes the NICU quilts. make a few of those. they are fun to do.

There are area quilds near me and one that used to sew for newborns, so there are definitely places I can donate to if I choose that route. I think tho I will wait until spring and to see if I really don't want to use them.

Thank you for all your advice!

Why can't you use the licensed fabrics however you wish to, once you purchase it? I was puzzled by your comment, Charlotte.

Hi, Carolynjo - that was a really strangely-worded comment, I see. I'm sorry. What I meant to say was that kids' prints like the ubiquitous Frozen sisters would be less likely to blend into regular quilt fabrics for not-kid quilts.

    hugs,
    Charlotte

Just shove it in a closet. You might want it later. For me,I get tired of stuff but then get interested again at a later date.If I have saved it I don't have to re-buy.Just because I have it doesn't mean I H A V E to use it.

If you're considering donating or selling your fabric. Please let me know. I've VERY involved with Quilts for Kids and we are always in need.
