My girl scout troop was in charge of doing a Father/Daughter dance for several years. We always had games and crafts for the girls to do. One year I cut up about 400 7" squares of a tone on tone white fabric and had several stencils and let the girls each stencil one square. We also asked each troop to donate one yard of any red, white or blue fabric to use with these stenciled squares to make several charity quilts.

My kids (10 and 14) loved the scavenger hunt a local guild had for kids at their show. They found the quilt with an item on it (totem, flag, skier etc) and wrote down the quilt #. They got prizes for finishing.
