Knockoff Fabrics?
I just made my confession in the Fabric Moratorium thread that I found myself unintentionally buying three smallish pieces of fabric today that I did not need. /sigh
However, when I got home, I tossed the fabrics in the wash and when I was ironing them I noticed the selvedge label on one of them: "APLLE PLAID - "PAST & PRESENTS" FOR DAISY KINDOM". I've included a picture below. I wonder, is it possible I've bought a knock-off fabric? It feels about the same as some other fabrics from that era in my stash that I know I bought new so that's not really telling me anything. I haven't looked too deeply online, but I haven't found anything that talks about this issue. Is it an issue in the quilting world?

If I can find the time to potentially go through all of my stash, I think there's a good chance I have some more Daisy Kingdom somewhere in there that I can compare it to. The fabric, as I say, seems fine, quality-wise, so maybe it _is_ just a misspelling.
