First image is a picture of the quilt taken at a quilt show. 2nd image is my recreating the lines of the quilt.

I love the impact of this quilt but the can't figure out the actual construction. Looks like paper piecing with y-seams? Would love to find a pattern or at least tips on how to put this together!

I think it is paper pieced. All straight lines so it would be easy to sew.

If you google the quilt show this quilt was hung in, you might find out a name or source?

I think one of the units is drawn on a 7 x 7 grid.
I think the center square is "snowballed" on one corner.

I think you have got it bearisgray. The snowball corner explains it.

This is how I would assemble it.

The skinny triangles are drawn with a ratio of 1:3 of base to height.

Tri-recs, triangle in a square, and peaky and spike skinny triangles are dawn with a ratio of 1: 2 of base to height.
