Default Koala Insert and Lift Question

I purchased a very nice Koala QuiltMate III, QuiltMate Campanion Chest, Rollabout Chest, Sew Comfort Chair, and Cutting Table From Craigslist for $250. The Quiltmate does not have a lift and I hope I can find one and an insert for my Bernina 170. I don't believe the QuiltMate III is being sold anymore, and my Bernina is several years old. Do you know if a lift might still be available and an insert to fit my machine? I'm excited to get my sewing room organized and start sewing!

Dolphyngyrl, it does not have a lift. I don't know if it originally had one, but it was advertised "without lift," and it doesn't have one.

Thanks for checking on it. I haven't been able to find much information online.

    You can buy lifts separately.
    Here's one:
    http://www.rockler.com/product.cfm?page=2

If you get a standard sized hole cut for the machine, you can get inserts. Koala should make one for your machine if you cut the hole for the lift the same size as a Koala or Horn. 18-13/16" X 11-3/16"
I have a Koala Lite, and a Horn, and the the Pfaff 2170 insert fits both perfectly.

I bought an older Parsons sewing cabinet from craigslist. It had an old spring-loaded lift that didn't work very well. My hubby took out the spring lift and put in a Rockler air lift - I love it now. I got an insert made to fit the hole and my Bernina 440 from Dreamworld-inc.com, I believe they make the ones for Koala. I gotta say, you scored BIG TIME to get that whole suite of sewing furniture for $250!
