I am making quilt for DD's boyfriend. He is a Miami Dolphins fan and that is the fabric I am using. I found orange Kona that matches but can't find the blue(?) to match or even come close.

Does any fabric shop online sell swatches of Kona? Or can anyone tell me what name shade of Kona would work? I would like to get this done by Valentines for her to give to him.

That is an unusual shade of blue. Do you have a Joann's, Hancock Fabrics or Hobby Lobby nearby? I know I've bought Kona at all 3 but I've not seen that shade nor is it on their web-sites.

    Here's the link to Kaufman's website: http://www.robertkaufman.com/fabrics/kona_cotton/

Fabric Depot has a large selection and it's 30% off $6.49 now:

Hancock's of Paducah sells the color chart but it's $30. Here's all their blues: http://www.hancocks-paducah.com/Item...Fabric--m-2277

Maybe you can call & one of them will know the appropriate shade to order.

Mary Jo's Fabric Store sells more than 200 colors of Kona Cotton. Always under $5 per yard, plus shipping.

they'll give you a discount if you buy a whole bolt of any fabric.

Isn't that color more a turquoise blue? I've use it making pageant dresses and have bought the cotton for the underskirts. I got it at Hancocks. Good Luck!

if Mary Jo's has the team fabric, then all you need to do is call them. somebody will look through the shelves and tell you which color of Kona you need to order. if they don't have that shade of Kona, they can also tell you whether or not they have a different fabric that will work just as well. :-)
