    Michael Miller has new line of solid colors - like Kona - but not as heavy a fabric - they are very nice colors

    I second hobby lobby plus they have it on sale right now. I think I paid 5.59/yd earlier today. (actually I don't think I've ever been there when it hasn't been "on sale"

    Kona solids are not flannel, .... and flannel is the weakest fabric you can buy...one of the reasons i hate working with it... it is stressed in the production by brushing with metal brushes... and it shrinks more than anything around... 6" in every yard is not even unusual....
