    I think I'd go with SITD around the trees, then wavy lines across the background to look like snowdrifts. Gorgeous quilt, whatever you do!

    What a fun quilt! Yes, SITD, but I would also put diagonal straight lines in the trees and put some paw prints in the background.

    Lovely! I'd do as you thought, but do something 'swirly' surrounding the trees to suggest wind and the movement of the trees. Maybe do some tufts of 'grass' at the bottom of some, around the tracks and the bear. Can't wait to see what you do with it.

    Wonderful quilt! I also think doing something small in the background would make the trees pop. Could be SID, then echoing, or small stipple or wavy. Choosing the quilting pattern can be the hardest part of it, so take your time deciding.
