I remember paper knickers similar to the ones you get in hospital knickers and hats.

I just got my bolt on Saturday. This stuff is really fun! Thanks so much for posting. I make a lot of bags and even if I just used it for leather look handles I'd be thrilled. I've washed some, painted on some & embossed some. Now I want to wash the embossed samples & see if the embossing washes out. Don't think you could make a quilt, but you sure could sew pieces together & make a floor rug, or picnic throw.

My DH's bird has decided he LOVES this stuff. The bird is allowed to free-fly around the house, and I can't leave any of this out or he'll find it and start picking at it!! I have decoy scraps set out in strategic places now, LOL.

It's tough to turn - I made a smallish zippered pouch and it was no fun at all turning it right-side-out. Looks like nice worn leather though! Mine is in black; I haven't gotten around to try decorating it, but I'm thinking some metallic paint or dye worked into the creases could be a subtle and interesting effect.

We have this at the store I work at (a Bernina dealer/fabric store). We also got this book in and it flew out the door:

That bag on the front of the book looks cool. I haven't tried anything yet, but there was a class that made little boxes with it that looked pretty cute. I'll be watching to see what other projects get made with it.
