When you have a Minky backing, do you put the label on the Minky or on the front side?
Is it hard to do if you put it on the Minky side?

I have made a couple baby quilts with minkee back and wasnt sure how to hand sew the label to the minkee and have it "take" so I sewed the label on the backing by machine before I finished quilting it. That way it is on there good but does not show as sewn on the front.

I've made about half a dozen or more Minky-backed quilts. I had no problem sewing the label on the backing just as I always do.

I should have added that you need to be sure you catch the back of the backing fabric, but that has never been a problem for me.

i've put it on the binding on a couple of minkees - otherwise just a normal label
