Labels for Donation Quilts
I've been assigned the interesting task of developing a printed label for the quilts our group donates to various causes.
Do you have a brand that works well for you and the outcome is good? Am very disappointed with the type I'm making. It says to spray with Scotchguard and it is a mess.
Have thought about using my Janome and stitching the label. Was not pleased with the lettering. Maybe I'm being too particular but really want them to look nice.
Thank you in advance for your thoughts.

Design them on the computer, then upload the file at Spoonflower and have them print it.
Make sure you check that the charity you're donating to doesn't have rules about the labels. I'm pretty sure QOV does.

I make Project Linus Quilts and someone somewhere along the lines told me not to put a personalized label on them. Instead I had little labels that I had made that say "You Are Loved" and has a small red heart. No one has objected to them yet.

I get different types of labels from Wunderlabel:
https://wunderlabel.com
Our long arm guild quilts for the other quilt guild. I think those labels just say who the quilts were quilted by.

I use Wunderlabel labels also. Mine say, Made with love by (my name) and then my town. I started using them when my Bee purchased standard labels for their Contribution Quilts. Theirs say, Made with care by The Red Hens.
