Question Labyrinth quilt by Debbie Mandy -Calico Carriage Quilt Designs

I’m just starting the quilt and it’s mainly 1/2square triangles. I’m making a queen sized for my hubby and I can’t find the finished size of the HSTs. I usually cut my squares bigger so they don’t come out too small. Can anyone help?

    It's not in the pattern?

Without having the pattern myself, I can not give you an exact answer. However, the formula for Half-square triangles is: Finished Size + 7/8". I normally just add 1" so I don't have to find that 1/8" marker on the ruler. Does the pattern tell you what size the finished block is? If so, then try to find out how many units are in that block then you should be able to decide how big each unit it and go from them. Hope this helps

I took a workshop making this quilt. The size is on the pattern. I don't have the pattern handy though because I haven't unpacked from my move yet.

I want to make a queen sized Labyrinth for my son also. What color combinations are you choosing? My friends say that I cannot stay with a gray and black (too bland). Need ideas.
