Dko you have the address of Obie's. When my buddies and I go to Lancaster when Zooks is having their sale we could check out Obies. We all make Linus quilts and the better the bargins the more quilts we can make.

    Thanks, Mary

Been to both but I like Dieners. They don't have the huge selection of Shady Maple but the food is replenished more often it seems to me and is never dried out. Love their beef tips and the desserts are out of this world.

Making me homesick too as I am from Lancaster. No one here eats scrapple or talks about it without making a face or red beet eggs either for that matter.

Are you, like, just trying to make us all envious? (It worked!)

Hmmm. This doesn't look like my kind of place. However could you see the fabric?

I'm living 90 minutes from Lancaster. It surely is a special place.

You can have shoofly pie from Dutch Haven with a few clicks and a few bucks. >>http://www.dutchhaven.com/

I like Wilbur buds too, the little chocolates made in Lititz. Also avaliable online>>

Sue, I smiled when I read this, because I have the same problem. No body in Texas knows what Maypo is and I have fond memories of eating it and watching the commercials.
