I think I can see why your daughter wanted to show it off on her bed. The way you made the outer border is just too clever. it is just perfect for the center of the quilt.

Very Nice !!!! This caught my eye and I thought it was rather funny because I just changed a Queen size into three or four lap quilts to take to the VA hospital. It was from a class I took to learn to make scrappy quilts.
