    Well, I don't know how I missed this earlier but am glad to know others spent their day doing quilty things as well. I finished the binding on this just a bit ago and am now just enjoying it being done! It was 2+ yrs in the making and finishing it was a huge relief. I love what everyone else is doing, everything looks so good. I really like the scrappy shown on the first page, how pretty that will be! Thanks for the sew-a-long.

    It' night now, but I want to sew a little. I'll put the binding on this Christmas gift and hand stitch it at my Bee on Wednesday. This was made last winter in Paintmejudy's Mystery Quilt. Get some sleep everyone!

    Wow! That is gorgeous, I love the grays and reds there. Very striking and an amazing job.

    pj and dotty, love your quilts, so industrious you all are. i'm just lurking today, shoulde rhurts to much to sew. but you've all accomplished a lot today.

    First I must say, there is some beautiful quilts posted here today! Just beautiful! Second, even though I read the post late,I did get some sewing in today on my veggie lap quilt. That was in between making cookies for my dh and sewing in the dining room on my 1911 Singer. I had to make every minute count while the cookies were baking.

    Such wonderful projects that everyone are working on. The glue is finally dry on my ornaments. The appliqued wallhanging top is done and ready for quilting and binding. Here are pics of them all. Took longer to get things done today than I thought they would. Still working though, planning on making more ornaments this eve.

    I got 5 of my ornaments strung with beads, did a little more sewing but DH is back in the house so I need to spend some time with him tonight so I will work on a hat from my stash, I have a nice gray-pink-white soft fuzzy yarn that I think will look nice. I think I have tomorrow off so I can work on more sewing, I will check in tomorrow.

    dotty... love that quilt! looks more complicated than it is. great colors
