is anyone out there cutting layer cakes? i started separating fabric i thought i may never use in the next century & decided i needed a "scrap" of each...2 wks later i am up to my EARS in layer cakes...i found some exciting patterns to make with them---there ARE quite a few good ones at the bakeshop, and i've done the math & decided this may work! who else is cutting?
i guess next is those CHARMS!!!!

I cutting jelly rolls from my fabric leftover from a project. I'm getting quite a nice collection. Eventually I plan to separate them into groups of coordinating colors so they'll be ready for some of the Moda and other jelly roll projects I've seen.

I cut charms from a leftover project last week, and then found a pattern I wanted to try, it needed 5 1/2 squares! LOL But if and when I get enough leftovers, it sounds like a real good plan.

Layer cake size is so convenient to work it. I love them. I think they are over priced but I like getting all the design line at once.

I would love to see the pattern you have for the 5 1/2 inch square. I have cut up a bunch on my GO with left over scraps.

Not sure if I remember which one it was now, I looked at so many that day. BUt, I'll look through my folders and see what I find. Will PM if I find it. Carol
