Layer Cakes?

I especially like buying my precuts (layer cakes, charm squares and 2 1/2" strips) from Connecting Threads because you don't pay any extra $ for their doing the cutting. Their sales are great. If you are comfortable shopping online, I would suggest checking them out!

Also here on the board we have been having a monthly swap of 10 1/2 blocks - a bit bigger than a layer cake, but gives you a little bit of wiggle room next one starts in January and will be a stash buster - look for swaps in the swap section

I host a monthly 10.5 layer cake swap every month- except December - the theme and or colors change month to month. Check back first week in Jan for my next swap- Stash busters Jan 2012 - any fabric from your stash (or bought)

Yes! If you take the price of their charm squares or layer cakes or strips and figure out how much yardage they equal, it is the same $ as if you bought the fabric by the yard. You get the advantage of the variety of fabrics and none of the hassle of cutting.
