Oh, I just started "collecting" a few months ago and was reorganizing my sewing room/office this weekend. Boy, I think I must have "rabbit" fabric. It sure did multiply fast!! But I'm having fun just sorting and feeling it. My 4yo granddaughter helped me fold some and it had to be "just right"!! I told her I would buy her a mini sewing machine and teach her to sew.

It must be the Spring (Fabric) season...or maybe the effects of time change because I've found myself refolding my bins also.
Yesterday I managed and entire bin although I didn't set out to do it. We suddenly had a severe weather system that was coming through with thunder and lightening so I turned off all my machines and unplugged them and decided to try to re-organized. My focus in buying fabric seems to be the Asians! I can't get enough of them...those and the border fabrics - which I get at least 3 yards of. Great to use for sashing separating flying geese....what I call my lazy quilts.

I learned that I cannot go 3 months with out petting some of my fabrics. I moved from Alaska November to Washington State and rented a storage unit and I felt lost without my fabric close to me, So I broke down last Saturday and grabbed 5 totes of fabrics to pet, I'm going back this Saturday to get more of my totes of fabrics for comforting reasons. That is what I learned about myself, An greatful that my teenag Sons understand, and helped me.
