I just made a great discovery. You know those $49.95 LED lights they just came out with that are selling like hot cakes? Well, I just went to the 99 cent store and got 2 of them and will use those tape things that you use to hold the plastic hooks on the wall that you can remove by pulling on the tab and I am going to affix one to each of my machines. $2.00 for 2 machines is a lot better than $100.00. I also found the best scissors there with big handles and they cut like a charm. I find that the little scissors handles slip down on my thumb and have caused tendenitis in my thumb joint and have had to have cortisone shots in the thumb twice. I am amazed at what you can find in these 99 cent stores. If you don't have one in your area, you may have a Dollar Tree, they might have them also.

I'm not sure what LED lights you are talking about. Do you have a link to view them?

This is the $49.95 one. The ones at the 99 cent store are to clip on a book but it is the same thing, just a different attachment. I just put a small dot of the adhesive velcro where I wanted it and it can be removed easily. Mine looks almost like the $50.00 one only one clip is pink and one is clear. The $50.00 ones are silver and black.

Thanks for the link and the info. I'll have to check my Dollar Stores.

The book lights give limited light and I find they dim very fast. I have the
LED light for the machine and it gives a true bright light and has 100000 light hours. Most inexpensive book lights have 40 light hours. The book lights that have high light hours with bright light will be around $30. So to me the machine led light is not over priced for the value it gives. Just my opinion.
Here is some info I found:
100,000 (or whatever light hour your bulb is) hour-lifetime means that you have that many hours till the bulb is at 70 percent of its original brightness. Seventy percent, research shows, is the point where people say, “Hey, I think the light is less bright than it used to be”

Would it be possible for you to photograph the lights you bought and post it here so we will know what we are looking for when we go looking? I'd really appreciate it. This would be so great for my two machines. Thanks, Beth
