    Incandescent lights (regular light bulbs) can fade fabric and cause fabric to weaken over time. Not sure with fluorescent lights. As far as I know, LED bulbs should be no problem.

    I'd be interested to know how much light the rats were exposed to and for how long. Quoting random studies really doesn't tell anyone anything.

    Incandescent bulbs would fade fabrics. I have no idea about flourescent or LED's.
