    Hi Everyone,
I too have been away from the forum for awhile. I have just caught up I hope on what I have missed.
A big welcome from me as well to all the new people since I last posted. I took your advice and tried to find the "LIberated Quilter" quilting book on E-Bay. You suggested the "I want it now" category since they did not have one listed through sellers. I have not even had a nibble. There must be books out there that someone is willing to sell. I just can't seem to find one. Any other suggestions on the subject?
Thanks fellow quilters for the help you have given me. It is very much appreciated.

Did you try abebooks.com? They are really good, too. Good luck in your search.

Thanks Norah, I don't remember if I checked there or not. I do remember checking Amazon and they had it for $80.00. A little steep for me. I will take your advice. Thanks again. I love your dog. I am a great dog lover.
    Best,
    Jean

Thanks for the reply Barb. How do you know about about this book for a friend. I am about to pull my hair out just trying to get this one book. Not even a "new " one at that. All I can say is it must be some great book!!!
    Thanks again

I don't remember where I first heard about it... on an email group or reading a quilt blog... but I know it comes up every so often. It is supposed to be a wonderful book. Barb

Oh boy, I will keep on plugging away and hope or the best. If you found it somewhere then maybe I can also. My friend is worth a good try.
    Best,

I'm curious now. What kind of a book is this? Is it fiction? Is it a book on techniques? Is it a compendium? Must be a whopper of a book at that price.

Well Extreme Quilter, I have not looked through it myself. It is a quilt book. I believe the author is Gwen Marstan. She has written at least one perhaps two books since the Liberated Quilter and they are about strip quilting. Considering the title, I take it that it is not your traditional quilt instruction book.
Part of the reason it is so costly is because it is out of print. Beyond that I really don't know.
You did make me laugh when I read your note. Thanks for making me smile.
