I just finished a wonderful journey with some of my QB friends thru making a scrappy quilt for my sister. It was such fun having them with me on the thread from start to finish!!

Next up is the bird quilt for my son!! If I have enough fabric accumulated for it, that is. Getting ready to drag it all out and see where I stand on that.

Right now I am not working on anything fancy. I am hand quilting a plain square throw and finishing up a king size rag quilt. The rag quilt is one that my son hired me to do for a friends bday. He bought the supplies and I did not charge him labor. I am getting near the end of this monster. I told my DH that if I ever do another king size rag quilt it will not be for less than $300-$400. This is a lot of work.

I posted a few days ago that I was working on learning to use the Viking Designer 1...well, here is what I got accomplished. Like I said in the earlier post "UFO's are actually good to have around sometimes!" These 4 tablerunners are from early last year, just needed to quilt & finish. Did that! Then, the piecing I was doing to learn on the Viking turned into a picture wallhanging. Today I quilted & finished a quilt. I'm actually getting alot done learning this machine.
