    Thank you - yes, the linen has been washed in detergent on hot water and dried in a hot dryer - no colors ran although I did wash the darks separately from the brights. Didn't use vinegar because I once was gifted linen sheets that were "softened" in vinegar and only 2 years later, they were very thin and had multiple holes/rips in them - from Restoration Hardware

    I've sewn linen clothing but never a linen quilt and this is heavy weight (8.5 oz) belgian linen with 11,500 rubs, so maybe won't get the holes that the linen sheets did
