Thank you. What I like most about it is that it is something I can do a bit on when I have just a few minutes to spare. Of course, the initial preparation is a bit time consuming & fussy, but then I reach a point where I have everything set up in such a way that I can just sew one thing on if that's all I have time for. On the other hand, with piecing or quilting, I need to feel like I have enough time (a couple hours at least) to spend to make it worthwhile to even get started.

Sure, right after two Julie Niemeyer's double wedding rings quilts (one each for #1 and #3 sons), the 15,000-piece GFG with 3/4" hexes and diamond garden path, the Sharon Pederson's Roses of Remembrance, and a few scattered 'lesser' projects slipped in between. Good luck and please document everything to share with us Brown Bird Iwannados!

I made this quilt, but did it as a whole cloth quilt and colored it with crayons instead of applique. It turned out beautiful. Everybody thought that I was crazy for using crayons for this...maybe I was. But it looks good!

I have 5 more completed LBB block pictures re-sized that I am trying to attach here ... I haven't shown you any beyond the first one (fruit basket) in early January. If I can manage to attach the photos o.k., I will have more in future; in fact 2 more blocks in the very near future.

Not crazy at all. A lot of people are doing some really nice crayon work. I am having fun doing the applique, but I'm thinking the coloring was lots of fun for you, too. I like to color!
