It's a travel guide to the Quilt stores in USA and Canada! How cool is that.

I was in the store today and got their newsletter...which led to their website ... which led to me finding this little jewel.

    http://www.pieceofmindky.com/index.htm

Seemed like really nice ladies in there but of course I didn't get their names. Prices reasonable too.

If you are coming to the Paducah quilt show I think this shop is offering specials too.

You have to tell me where in Benton this place is. I'm 20 minutes away in Murray.

The picture of the two ladies on the front with their car filled with fabric reminds me of a story Carol Doak told when I saw her give a talk once. If you ever have the opportunity to listen to her talks, you definitely should - she is hilarious!

I have really enjoyed that book. We used it on several of our trips and I found a really unique little shop that I would have driven right by.

I don't have the newer version, but I do take my older one with me whenever I plan an outing looking for fabrics.

It's just off the court square in Benton. If you are headed north on 641, it would be on your right, just as you are going up the one way hill into the square.

Oh, their website has a nice little map too

This comes out every year or two, has for years and years. Nearly every shop carries copies of it at some point. Shops are only in it if they respond to requests for their info, etc.

Actually Odds and Ends is a different store. That one is out by Leon Riley Ford, but Piece of Mind is on the square right across from the Republican building on Poplar Street. We also have another fabric shop on Hwy. 95 just past North Marshall Junior High School. it is on the right and she has a lot of fabric for a small place and some as low as 2.95 a yard.
