A little OT. Quilted jacket
I bought a pattern a while back and am now getting around to wanting do it. Simple pattern and the the options for making it personal are endless.
I would love to see if anyone here has done this jacket and how it worked out for you.
Its called Fabric in the Minds Eye in five easy pieces by Sharon Baker.

LOL. I am turning into an artsy person. There was a time in my life i would have thrown up rather than wear a quilted jacket. NOT my style. This jacket has such possibilities and does not necessarily need to be "quilted" I think a great lining would suffice however, if quilted would be awesome for the upcoming winter.

Pretty pattern. Years ago there was a pattern out called the Bog Coat (I think) done in strips but a similar style. I ended up remaking mine into a different style because the kimono style sleeve always made me feel like a football player Look forward to seeing your "artsy version" of this pattern.
Haha found the photo it was in 1995 and was actually called a Khandu jacket

Can't help, the closest I've done was the sweatshirt based jacket for a cousin who loves red. LOL, not sure if she has worn it yet!! Made with a jelly roll so I would have more variety.

I did make the Bog Coat years ago it was fast and very basic. Now that I'm older and much more, shall we say chubbier, I want something to cover my arms I think I will give this a try myself with a 3/4 length sleeve. I can see how you could really have fun with this pattern, and express yourself and your quilting too. Happy creativity !
