I have to agree with Grann of 6. In my life nothing matters if it isn't finished or completed. If I was worried about winning blue ribbons I wouldn't have made any quilts. I know people who have never finished anything because they are so afraid that someone else might judge it as not perfect. I have something better than ribbons. Several times a week I get a thank you note for one of the Linus quilts I have made. Usually it is from a hospital etc. I do have some that were obviously written by children in crayon or big croocked letters with a pen or pencil. Sometimes it is from a parent. They mean much more to me than any Blue ribbon. Quilts are meant to be loved not worshiped.

I love your last sentence !!!! "Quilts are meant to be loved not worshiped." If we all would remember that, we would be a whole lot happier and confident in our quilting. Thanks!
