    I actually have a paper template included with the pattern that I am selling for the Diamond Log Cabin Star quilt. I do make the logs bigger on one side.

    This thread explains the pattern. The border is like in the blue quilt, not the one in my avatar, but there is a downloadable file to help make that border.

    That is a beautiful quilt and good for you to be able to figure a pattern from a picture, wish my skills were that good!
