    I have the Jan Krentz book and it is very inspiring. Can't wait to see your lonestar.

    You can buy a pattern from www.quiltsmart.com it is a printed fusable interfacing and all you do is fuse flip and stitch all of the 8 star points and there are no "Y" seam on this one. Very easy to do and it cost about the same as the book you were looking at. That's how I made my first one and then I did the strada methind on my lone star table toppers and they turned out real nice too. Good luck with what ever you do. Huggies, Fay
