I am not having a very good day...first not enough material for my king quilt binding, fine....using another fabric, but I had to wash it since I already washed the quilt and afraid the material may really shrink (the binding). So that is now in drier...meanwhile made a doll quilt, its very small....I had the worst time with the binding...tried a new method that I saw in a class...tried it 4 times ripped it out each time, then tried bias binding...horrible, I forgot how to do it right, ripped it out...then I did it the way I know...but grabbed the wrong piece of strip and it was only 1 1/2 inches wide...tried to cut the ends of the batting to make it fit...nope...took that off and then I was just so frustrated...instead of walking away I just put the binding on...does not look the greatest, worst I have ever done..., but I am done with that dumb doll quilt...it is what it is...I am now not sure if I should attempt to do my binding today on my king quilt...think I just need a break. Not a good start.

Shovel snow that just stopped falling. Hopefully finish the last 3 squares for my sister's quilt. I had hoped to complete it for Christmas LOL And visit my MIL in NYC before I go back to work on Wednesday.

I have a stack of fabrics picked out for a possible blooming 9 patch but I haven't started cutting yet. Not sure these fabrics will work for that pattern. No snow here, just a dismal grey day.

I am making some valentine table runners, and some springy runners to hopefully sell at an artisan gallery my DDIL and I are members of. My quilts did nothing, so hoping I can sell some smaller things. I also have several quilts that need to be assembled. I would also like to get a quilt hung on my new HQ Avante (named him Bob) so I can practice some fancy quilting. So much to do, so little time....LOL

I'll be getting my postage stamp quilt top done this weekend, then sandwich it next weekend, then quilt.

If I finish the quit top, I'll start on one of my UFOs.

Not a thing! We are staying with our 17 month old grand daughter at her house while her parents are away. And, of course, we are loving every minute of it!
