    I finished the Shop Hop today. I made a modest haul. I'm trying to restrain myself. In the pic:

    Lavender backing for another 4-patch, bright fat quarters for a wall hanging gift. 505 and thread.

    The middle row: civil war fat quarters for Primitive Gatherings The Triangle Quilt.

    The last row: A Quilter's Dream batting sample card, little gifties from the shops: a scissor keeper kit, a tissue holder kit, portable lint rollers, a Red Rooster fat quarter, and a little card sized ruler.

    All in all it was a good day. I didn't purchase from every shop but that didn't surprise me because I don't really purchase from those shops on a regular basis anyway.

    Me too! I'm a little nervous though. I had never been interested in civil war before but I seem to have been bitten by the bug! I did a little table topper for my girlfriend out of civil war prints because I wanted something red, white and blue without being overtly 4th of July themed. That is when it hit me.

    Even my husband likes those prints! Heaven help me! :)
