I stand. I even stand when I'm doing regular sewing.

I've seen posted on another forum that some quilters sit in some sort of "saddle" like you would put on a horse. I dunno--I'm not that coordinated...

Have any of you LA'ers ever tried the new bobbin winders out now? I found one that looks to be great.

    http://theeasywinder.com/

On the site he told me all about threads and tension in a way that made me u/s it like never b4. That alone was great.

The Bobbin winder will do M sized bobins and it's only a little more that the 'Jo-Ann's on sale' which look less robust.

Anyway my machine has a separate winder and I need one as my got left behind in the move. And of course no one in Chile knows what to do with me when I asked it they could make me one of 'those' as I pointed to a picture. :)

    So just checking for info.........

I stand 99.9% of the time. I have a nice armless chair that raises and lowers, and the frame has hydraulics also. The only time I sit is for frogging (rip-it, rip-it), which happens infrequently.
