Superior thread- King Tut on top and So Fine in the bobbin, or Auriful for either one, sometimes YLI in the top; 99% I use varigated on the top.

I use the Glide thread from Bobbincentral.com also. And the Magna bobbins. It's beautiful thread and I have no tension issues with it either.

I appreciate your taking time to answer. I do not have a longarm machine, but I have someone quilt the larger quilts for me.

I do not like invisible thread at all.

I'm so glad you all mentioned the invisible. I've been toying with it in my mind....now I will skip it! :D

I really like the look of invisible thread! I find that colored thread often interferes with the quilt pattern and makes the quilt look too busy for my taste. Give invisible a try. I think the results look much more like hand quilting.

WOW! I didn't know there were so many different types of threads!!!!! I'd wondered about using the Serger thread....I can find the colors I like in those!!! Thanks for asking!

I use Superior Thread....mostly King Tut.....very dependable and I can live with what lint accumulates. MY PROBLEM: I recently used a cone(which is more economical) but the thread kept breaking...over and over. Is is becuase I used the cone?....the thread itself worked fine on my Janome table machine. Any suggestions?
