It's funny, living here in Denver, and not knowing these quilts are on display. Wow.
A friend took me to a play a few weeks ago called "The Quilters". It gave a basic history of the lives of women in the 1800's and the quilts. Very good show. But, in the lobby they had quilts on display all over the place. I stood like a little girl just staring at so many of them. I wanted to be able to touch them. (Why is that? Why do I feel compelled to touch fabrics that I like and quilts that I see?)
Thanks for the link, Butterfly.
