My friend asked if I would help her clean out her attic, this house is really old and dates back to the 1800's or more and it is a very big attic with lot of junk up there, I think people use to just put everything they were not using in the attic.
Anyway we found a turnk and it was full of real old clothing and 2 old hand pieced quilt tops, and some that were not all done yet, she didn't know where they can from and asked me if I wanted all of them.. WOW! I jumped at that. LOL... I took them home and washed then and they look really nice. one has a small stain on it but it is in a place that would not show.
What I want to know is can a LAQ quilt these tops seeing there are hand pieced? I don't know how to hand quilt so that is out.. what would you do with them?

this one has 16 inch blocks and is really big

That is great! Take them to LA and ask her opinion, talk to her about how you want them quilted. or you my be able to find someone willing to hand quilt them for you, check at your LQS, or a Guild they may know some one.

Find a hand quilter to finish them for you, or at least the red and white--it's not so common--they deserve it.
