As long as you really distinguish between lights and darks, it will be STUNNING in batiks!!!!

Hmmm....I might even co-opt that idea.

There was a tuturial on the board last year, no PP or templates. Since I always wanted to make the Hunter's Star quilt but didn't want to use templates or PP I was excited to try it. Attaching a picture of the quilt I made. You could play with the measurements until you got the size you wanted. Using her sizes my four sections joined measured a little over 9" square, pretty small for a Hunter's Star.

Has any one seen this as a whole block instead of broken down in the 4 sections? I can find it in sections, but that's not what I am looking for. I am starting to think I am searching for something that does not exist. :?

    Thanks.

I've seen the Hunters Star made out of 1/2 sq. triangles.
    Here's a tutorial.
I'd think it's possible to adjust the measurements to end up the size you want.
    Just an idea.
    Good luck.

Do not be put off by having the four sections, it is really easy and PP gives you very accurate points and the blocks are then so simple to sew together! Good luck
