Spent the day at a historical "village" with the DGD and her parents. Was playing with the treadle on display. My 3 year old little sweetie was enthralled. She's seen grammy making things on her sewing machine so knew what I was doing. Think I've got a sewer in the making?

My Mom taught my daughters how to sew. The youngest made a baby quilt for her kindergarten teacher at 5 years old. She sat on Nammy's lap and fed the fabric while Mom controlled the speed. She was so proud of that quilt!
