Hi ... the reason I registered for this board is because I'm trying to track down a woman in Alberta, Canada, who is collecting quilts for a town that was destroyed last spring/early summer - apparently many people lost their homes & possessions. I can't find her name or address, & am not even sure how I came across this request. I've the quilt almost ready to mail off. I think I may have gotten a copy of her original post from someone who has access to the Quilting Board & passed along the request. Any information will be greatfully received. Thanks!

Sorry, can't help you there, but can welcome you to the board from WV and hope someone else knows the answer for you. No matter why you registered, you are going to love this place.

You may be referring to the Slave Lake fire that destroyed the town. I will PM you some info on a lady whose son lives there and maybe she can put you in touch with the right contact.
