    Yes they do look like feedsacks. I have a few sacks with the same print.

    My sister has a quilt made by our great-grandma (d 1959) that is double wedding ring and the rings are appliqued to an orange whole piece of fabric. I haven't seen it for awhile, but I think they are sewn with a blanket stitch. What a find for you.

    I have also seen DWR on black or lilac background - very striking.
