I only have a small strip of this wonderful fabric and have been searching for days on line and weeks in stores to find more. Can anyone help me? Ever seen this fabric before or know of a shop that might have it now? Thank you!!

Light and dark browns to look like bark

The line is called "Wise Old Owl" and it's from Exclusively Quilters Classic Cotton. Patchwork Cabin carries it, but they are temporarily out of stock. http://www.patchworkcabin.com/fabricmisc.html Will continue looking. :)

For what it's worth, Classic Cottons / Exclusively Quilters is coming out with what looks to me like the exact same print. This time it's included in a line called Whitetail Valley. You can view the whole line on their website here:
    http://www.classiccottons.com/c-92-w...september.aspx

You can take a look and see if you think it's the same. They might have changed the colors some. It's hard to tell. They brought back the two fern prints that were in the "Old Owls" group, too, but recolored those.

Funny you should have asked about this ... I had just called Classic Cottons earlier this morning to ask about this group. Although they have posted on their website that they are shipping in September, the told me today that this line will not really be available until October.

Hopefully this will help you be able to plan your timeline. (I know you want it now...)

That was awesome finding that for her ghostrider.

I'm glad you found your fabric lakehouse97449. I know what it's like to go crazy looking for a particular fabric.

    Happy quilting. :) :)

It's by far the best looking fabric bark I've ever seen, which is probably why it's so hard to find! The line is not that old so it shouldn't be this difficult to find leftovers.

I did find the free quilt pattern that came out when the fabric line did if anyone wants that. http://www.quilters-world.com/pdfs/wise_old_owl.pdf

I agree, it is a wonderful bark texture, looks just like the trunk of an old Austrian pine.

If you like bark fabrics, Wilmington Prints and South Sea Imports often include, in their nature / northwoods lines, textures that look like tree bark. They're worth looking up!
