Looking for a bicycle or off-road bicycle quilting pattern.....where to go?
Hello! I find so many answers here so thought I'd throw this one at you. I've already searched on the web under bicycle quilting design and quilting pattern with no luck. Has anyone seen on one of their searches at their favorite web haunts a quilting design that deals with a bicycle, off-road bicycle, speed bicycling, etc? I have designs for dirt bikes which is not even close to a regular bicycle but nothing as simple as a plain old bicycle.
I've been working on a D9P in blues, browns, beiges with black as the center. Was just about ready to start putting the rows together when someone on this site put up their D9P on point the other day. It spoke to me and I just had to see what my blocks would look like on point. I fell in love with it so now I'm at the point of putting the sashing and coins down the rows. I'll be ready to start quilting by next week at the latest so need to find something to do with bicycling soon or come up with a whole different theme for his quilt. He's into speed bicycling, camping, kayaks and roller blading. The backing fabric I'm using is all colors of bicycles on black background. Wanted to do a E2E with something special along the border. Any sites you can direct me to would be appreciated greatly. Thanks,

Have you thought about looking at coloring books or line drawings to see if you can find a pattern you could replicate. I did that with fire hydrants on my last quilt - did learn along the way that the pattern I chose to draw out was definitely above my skill level, but my 4 year old nephew loves it.

Fons and Porter has a bicycle kit on clearance right now call Rad Rider Quilt Kit. I bought and made for a little boy. It is truely bicycles. Very cute. Good price - only $60 and comes with the backing. This is a design worked from bicycle fabric not applique.

Thanks for all the ideas but I'm looking for a digital quilting pattern of a bicycle, not a fabric block pattern. I went to the Patternman.com site and the design would work excepts its a paper pantagraph pattern so still not what I'm looking for. Guess I need to be more specific in my requests...............but I do appreciate all the help those on this site give me.
Will accept more suggestions though.

Beth, I picked up all the bike designs from Anne Bright. The designs at Sweet Dreams are only for those machines with encrypted something or another. Couldn't purchase from them. Anne Bright's designs will do great. I'll have to make my own "Live to Ride" that I couldn't purchase from Sweet Dreams.
Thanks to all who came up with sites for me to check out. These were sites I'd never heard of so they're now on my "Supply" list. Already have the border design laid out in my program.
