Does anyone know of a block pattern that uses a 5 point star? Or where I might go to look for such a thing?

Good morning Ghostrider. It's good to know that there are others out there that get up early. Aren't early mornings great? So quiet and peaceful.

I used to when growing up. We live in a pretty tiny village and on one the edge roads so it's not too bad. The birds are finally getting up here and I'm going to have to get DD up soon so that we can get ready for church but I have to get up and have my quilting board fix before I go.

Thanks for everyones help. I had seem these sites before asking but was looking for one that uses a octagon center so I could piece it togather. I will proably use the one snip method to start with and from that make my own. Again thanks for you help

Do you mean a pentagon (5 sided) center with triangles sewn to the outside edges? There are templates for sale here (scroll down to pentagon star)....http://www.quilttemplates.com/favori...teblocks3.html
