Default Looking for a Link for a 60 Degree Diamond Pattern

I had a friend to ask me for a really good tumbling blocks pattern; however, finding an accurate one to make a template from is not easy. I do not want to spend time showing her how to paper piece, and she probably does not want to do that either.

I have checked YouTube for Jinny Beyer's tutorial and it looks great, but I am not where I can buy her template ruler. Having it shipped is prohibitive.

    Any links or suggestions?

This is the one I do. Looks the same, without the craziness of Y seams. Ann

Marci Baker's rulers and patterns were among the first for hexies/GFG/60 degree diamonds. "She wrote Not Your Grandmother's Flower Garden."

Kaffe Fassett has a really beautiful design using 60 degree diamonds called Rosita. There's a great video tutorial on creativebug.com that she could check out (free 14 day trial). It's really quite simple. All she does is line up the one side of the triangle ruler with the corner of the diagonal cut & cuts. It somehow manages to form a 60 degree diamond. So cool!

He & his partner Liza Lucy use the Clearview Triangle Tool Super 60. http://www.ctpub.com/clearview-trian...acrylic-ruler/

OK, I saw this on Pinterest, but did not look closely because it was not colorful. The stripes do seem to help get the main idea.

Jane, I should have known you could find a goldmine. I forgot to look at the time, but I have had fun browsing through all those links--and, yes, even MSQC was fun to watch too. I prefer the finished look of smaller blocks, but the idea that MSQC has is neat and likely very fast.

I sure wish I were in the USA, and I would definitely order one of these. Postage would eat me up if I ordered it sent to me where I am.
