I need help please. I'm looking for a quilted mantal scarf pattern. I want to embroider old world Santas and reindeer on it but am unsure of what pattern to use.

My mantal is 8ft 2" long and 12" wide. I know I will need to adjust a pattern.

Does anyone know of a pattern other than peaks? I have looked and looked with no luck.

    Thanks! :(

I'm not sure what you mean by peaks. I found a few patterns, but they might not be what you want.

http://www.plumcreekcollectibles.com...ypatterns.html The mantle scarf is the 11th one down on the left.

Here's one more. This one and the first in the previous post are free.

Good luck in finding what you want!

Sandy 1951, there is also a clutch bag pattern on that site. I've been making smaller ones like that for credit cards, etc. and a few bills that we can tuck into our hand bags or pocket when we run out to the store, etc. for years. These sites that are mentioned usually have a lot of other things people might be interested in if they search the store.

Yes, I saw several patterns I liked, especially on the Plum Creek Collectibles site. She has some really cute things! I saw a Christmas tree skirt I'd like to make for next Christmas.

This one would probably adjust well to some hand embroidery.http://www.babylock.com/ftp/projects/0112xmas.pdf

Do you think one of the patterns will work for you? If not, what about using a table runner pattern and making it into a mantle cover?

I want to embroider reindeer and old world santas on it and have it hand down a bit.

I have been thinking about this all year! Mayve I'll use my EQ and make one that way.

I don't know much about EQ, but from everything I've read I'll bet that would work. Please post a pic after you create and make it; I'd love to see it!
