Default Looking For Mexican Star Pattern with Folded Edges

I've been looking for this pattern but can't find it. Does anyone have a link they could share?

The designer sells it at her website, www.southwindquilts.com. It is a fun pattern to make, I really enjoyed it.

BizziBee - I made one of these. It is lovely and not difficult at all. As soon as I can crawl out from under the rest on my projects, I am making another one. I oriented mine a little differently (not on point) and used black, white and red patterns.

Oh, just gorgeous! I have always loved the Mexican Star and when I saw the newer version with the little fold of fabric I knew it would be the perfect block for the quilt I am going to make for my son. He lives in Arizona so I bought fabrics in beiges, brown, turquoise and soft coral. I can't wait to start but I need to finish up two others first. Can you tell me something? How is that little fold created? Is the fabric for that piece doubled and then just folded?

All it is is a square folded to make a triangle. When you piece it, you fold the long edge under and it naturally curves.

That is pretty. Looks like something I could do and get it right. My DIL wants a quilt made out of those colors. Thanks for sharing.
